Who is She?

A woman

She is human! Priceless! She is gold! She brings out beauty in ugliness! She builds ability in every disability, she is pride. She acknowledges and accepts the difficulty that comes with being a woman, being strong because she finds that her womanhood will need the strength and when she lets it, sometimes that strength will find her. Her strength is not measured by the impacts the hardships in life have had on her, but by the extent of her refusal to allow those hardships dictate who she becomes, an extraordinary person with a story to tell, on a battle only she can win, a colorful bird with tireless wings, she thinks beyond imagination and goes out of her comfort zone to achieve success.

She is firm, a strong foundation, a strong source of support and motivation, innovative, she develops potentials, brightens the day and fills the world with hope, smile and happiness, the brain behind multitasking, she is never tired, and she keeps learning from every experience and develops with it, she takes responsibility, takes each step courageously, even though she passes through many challenges, she boldly take a step, and another, and another, she is lovable, universal and renowned, energetic, enthusiastic, entrepreneurial and creative. She embraces her womanhood with pride; she is uniquely gifted, valuable. She works towards success, activates it and embraces her success with pride. She shares, connects, leads, encourages, cries a lot and smiles. She gets scared but goes beyond those fears to define her strength and womanhood. She draws strengths from the fears, troubles and distress and she smiles. SHE IS A WOMAN!

Yay! Happy International Women’s Day

  1. I was listening to a YouTube talk by Oprah last night and she touched on this very topic. In my notes I wrote “To see yourself with your own eyes .. and to love yourself with your own heart” It’s become my food for thought

  2. This reminds me of the song, I am woman. I think it’s important that we remind ourselves of what we can do and contribute to the world.

  3. How lovely are these beautiful strong empowering words, to describe a true woman and girls too, I will be reading this out load to my daughter later. x

    • Yeah, I understand you being strict with yourself than you’d be with anyone else (that’s more good than bad really). And yes, give yourself that break, Cath :*
      Thanks ❤

  4. Love this post. Very powerful and inspiring thoughts here. I love the idea of being your own best friend . If we can achieve that as women we will truly be independent and productive.

  5. Women are strong but also delicate human beings and men should acknowledge and appreciate all the hard work a woman is putting into everything she does. It’s not easy to be a mother, a career woman, a lover, a house keeper, all in the same time.

  6. I agree that I am ‘She” who : she is never tired, and she keeps learning from every experience and develops with it, she takes responsibility, takes each step courageously, even though she passes through many challenges.

Very motivating post. Happy International Women’s Day 😉
